Description
A Omega Seamaster clone — reference 215.32.46.51.99.001, 45mm case, in stainless steel. On the wrist it tracks the reference it copies — the case silhouette, the dial furniture and the taper of the bracelet all follow the genuine watch. This is a clone, and it is described as one — no other claim is made about it.
It runs on a self-winding calibre, so the seconds hand glides instead of ticking and the watch keeps itself wound from the motion of your wrist. The steel case is worked by hand — brushed faces keep their grain and the polished edges stay sharp. The crystal is anti-reflective sapphire, and the case is rated to 50 metres — enough for everyday wear.

The reference number format is systematic. The first two digits (21) denote the Seamaster family. The 5 in the third position marks the 45mm case size. Other sizes use 4 (43mm) or 3 (40mm). The remaining digits specify dial colour, movement, and bracelet type.
The 215-series uses a solid end link on the bracelet; the newer 232-series has a half-link at the clasp. The 215's crown is set slightly lower on the case. Our QC photos show these details in close-up.
The date wheel is part of the automatic movement underneath. The window is cut in the dial itself and is not a separate component. When we photograph the dial angle, the date window is legible through the sapphire crystal.
Black dials reflect less ambient light and are harder to read in dark conditions. Grey dials sit between black and silver for readability. In direct light, both are equally legible; the difference emerges indoors under artificial lighting.
