What the Nautilus reference numbers mean

Patek Philippe's Nautilus numbering is short and unhelpful to outsiders, so it is worth spelling out. The 3800/1 is the mid-size original from the 1980s, and the vintage Sigma dial version is the one collectors argue about. The 5711 is the 2006-onward 40 mm case; on the original the G suffix marks white gold, and 001 is the dial variant. The Dual Time carries a second time-zone hand instead of the standard three-hand layout. We build clones of these designs in steel. Crown Super Clone is not connected to Patek Philippe in any way, and the reference numbers stay on the products only because they tell you which design is being copied.

Case, bezel and bracelet

The Nautilus shape is difficult to clone because almost all of it is exterior. The rounded octagonal bezel with its two flank hinges, the horizontally grooved dial, the integrated bracelet that tapers without a visible seam — get one wrong and the watch reads incorrectly from across a room. Our builds use brushed and polished steel with the transitions placed where the originals put them, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and applied hour markers rather than printed ones.

Ordering, shipping and returns

The 54 references run from $1,388 to $1,509, a narrow band, so dial and metal decide the choice rather than budget. The movement is stated on each listing: a Swiss-grade clone automatic good for about two days off a full wind, with a Japanese Miyota automatic available on every product page for $620. Payment is bank transfer or crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH); our team emails instructions after the order, and nothing is charged at checkout. Shipping is free, tracked and insured, in discreet unbranded packaging, 5-10 working days worldwide, Switzerland excepted. The case is sealed for daily wear rather than swimming. Returns run 14 days from delivery on unworn watches in original packaging, and the warranty is 12 months against manufacturing faults. Full terms are on the FAQ page, and the wider family is in the Patek Philippe category.
